三、一般现在时，现在完成时和现在被动进行时
1、一般现在时 (be…；do／does…)：常表示事实、规律、习惯、秉性、爱好等。我们一定要注意它应用在状语从句中，表示将来时的这个特殊情况。例如：
(1) The earth circles the sun.地球绕太阳转。
(2) Our teacher said that China is a big country.老师说中国是个大国。(主句虽是过去时态，但宾语从句表述的是个事实，故用了一般现在时。)
(3) 1 won't go there if it rains tomorrow. 如果明天下雨，我就不去那里了。(if引导的条件句用一般现在时，表示将来。)

This is the first time (that) he has gone to Beijing这是他第一次去北京。（此处使用现在完成时表示他已去北京。）
